Vietnam Foundry and Metallurgy Science and Technology Association (VFMSTA) was founded on August 15, 1966. VFMSTA is a social professional, voluntary organization of Vietnamese, who act in the fields such as science, technique, technology and management of foundry and metallurgy and also relative professions. The goal of Association is assembled, united and helped each other to improve scientific and technical level and specialty, to mobilize initiative, positive and creative spirit of members participating in association activities and contributing in the development and modernization of Vietnam. VFMSTA plays a key role in the overall development of Vietnam foundry and metallurgy industry. Today, VFMSTA is amongst one of the largest professional Association in Vietnam over 3000 members, consisting one professional Society, 4 province and city association chapters, organs and a Journal with hundreds professors, doctors, scientists and also entertainers all over Vietnam. VFMSTA is a part of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations - VUSTA.
