Somet is founded in 1962. Main facility of the company is located in Rijeka. The foundry is located in Labin-Istria and the castings are made by sand moulding, gravity and pressure die-casting.

Business activity is as follows:
  • production of all cast piping armatures - valves from cast iron, bronze, steel, cocks, connections, cast iron filters, etc.;
  • production of castings from bronze and aluminium for shipbuilding armatures and for all standard types of awnings (awning mechanisms);
  • production of fire–fighting equipment;
  • production of welded piping armatures, etc.
