Company Dalit is founded in year 1905. Nowadays, Dalit Corporation d.d. is composed of several daughter companies with own activity. One of them is Dalit Iron Foundry (Dalit Ljevaonica Zeljeza d.o.o). The foundry is a renown producer of: grey iron castings GG 15 - GG 25, nodular iron castings GGG 40 - GGG 70, corrosion resistant cast iron GGG NiCr20.2 parts for automobile industry (Peugeot, Citroen, Raba, Continental Teves, Honeywell-Garrett), Italian shipbuilding industry and Croatian machine-building industry. The used technologies and machines are as follows: hand casting, weight of cast up to 2 tones; machine casting - Malkus machine, weight up to 80 kg per cast (grey iron) and up to 50 kg per cast (nodular iron); machine casting - automatic casting line DISA 2013 (340 casts per hour), weight up to 30 kg per cast (grey iron) and up to 25 kg per cast (nodular iron); machine casting - automatic casting line DISA 230B (up to 500 casts per hour), weight up to 30 kg per cast (grey iron) and up to 25 kg per cast (nodular iron); Croning shell-process. System of quality assurance is certificated by TUV according with ISO 9002.
