Zlievaren SEZ Krompachy is a manufacturer of high quality castings of grey iron STN 422415 (GG 15) and STN 422420 (GG 20). The products of the enterprise are intended for automobile industry, electrical industry, cooling systems, hydraulic transmissions and pumps, ovens, fireplaces and other heating bodies, drainage sewages and other industrial machines and equipments. The melting plant comprises cold – blast cupolas 750 mm, intensified with oxygen, and induction receiver – volume 6 tons. The castings are moulded on automatic moulding line Disamatic 2013, on automatic machine KFA 10, and on jolt–squeeze moulding machines Foromat – Retomat. For core-making are used shooting machines KS 3-3B and KS 12-3B with Cold-Box Amin process and three–position shooting carroussel for the production of cores with CO2 process. Cleaning shop comprises shot-blasting barrels and rotary-table blast machines, tumbling and grinding machines.
