Progress JSC has existed for over 80 years. Since 1997 it has a majority of private shareholders and since 2000 it has entirely private participation within the structure oh the Holding Center. The enterprise is specialized in the manufacture of high quality grey iron and spheroidal-graphite castings, which are designed for hydraulic and the pneumatic technologies, for the motor industry, for the electrical and mechanical engineering. The large production list of the ornamental art castings covers street and park lighting poles, taps, benches, fountains, fences, etc., as well as iron castings for the sewerage shafts. Progress JSC also manufactures materials for the smelting industry, such as modifiers and slag's removal flux. The company has expanded its market not only in Bulgaria, but also to Italy, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Turkey, etc. The company's production capacity and the qualified and well skilled workforce enables it to execute promptly and to quality standards each order. The enterprise has the capacity for a production of about 11 000 tons of cast iron castings per year.
