Centromet AD is a foundry specialized in centrifugal casting of steel and cast iron in metal moulds with horizontal and vertical turning axis. Centromet AD is a member company of Metal Technology Group AD. The foundry is specialized in the production of four types of products, where the most important group is the pipes for the chemical and petrol industries. The other major part of the production consists of cylinder liners for ship engines and diesel generators. The third group is the bimetal roller shells for the ceramic and food industry. The forth important production group is the furnace rolls for roller conveyor designed for industrial furnaces and working in high-temperature environment. Centromet has no real competitors on the Balkans. The production is specific and requires certificates under Lloyds, TUV, Bureau Veritas. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 since 2001, ISO 14001:2004 since 2010, BS OHSAS 18001:2007 since 2010. Many of the products are certified under the Lloyds Register for grey and ductile cast iron, stainless steel and austenitic steel. The company has been approved as producers of cylinder liners and steel castings by Bureau Veritas. It also has been certified by TUV and under the European requirements for pressure vessels, which are the main products for the chemical industry. |
