Alucom AD is a foundry specialized in machine casting of aluminium parts under low pressure and counter pressure casting methods of all AlSi based alloys in accordance with EN 1706. The single weight of the parts starts from 1 to 150 kg, min. wall thickness - 4.5 mm Alucom AD is a member company of Metal Technology Group AD. Alucom was established in 1973 based on the Bulgarian patent for gas counter-pressure casting of Proff. Dimov and Academician Balevski. The core business of the company is casting of aluminium alloys. The plant has a closed production cycle starting with the casting technology, going through casting tools design and production in the respective tool shop, aluminium casting, thermal processing, cleaning, machining and coating - chemical or paint, as well as shipment. The major markets of the company, where goes about 90% of the production, are the countries of Western Europe and the European Union, but also Canada, Brazil and Israel. Alucom AD produces and supplies parts for the energy sector (about 48%), automotive industry - in particular off-road vehicles (24%), gardening equipment (18%), general engineering (10%) and also the chemical, railway and textile industries. The company is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 since 2002, ISO/TS 16949:2009 since 2004 and ISO 14001:2004 since 2008.
